New articles
[deasaich an tùs]Hi Meatbong,
I'm not sure I agree with you about the importance of having 1000 articles. I think the REAL goal is 1000 quality articles, while many of the articles we have now are... well, not very good. Since we're almost up to 1000 now anyways, I won't ask you to stop, but I hope that after we get 1000 articles, you won't shoot for 2000 or even 10000 articles but rather slow down a little and spend more time improving existing articles.
While you're still creating new articles like crazy, though, I thought instead of just fumbling around in the dark it'd be better if you had a list of the "Most Wanted" articles (articles that don't exist yet with the most links to them):
- Eaconamaiche (53 links)
- Time zone (40 links)
- Top-level domain (38 links)
- Area (38 links)
- List of country calling codes (38 links)
- List of countries by area (36 links)
- Motto (34 links)
- Airgead (32 links)
- Coordinated Universal Time (31 links)
- Innealan Ciùil (30 links)
- Laoidh Naiseanta (29 links)
- Indo-Eòrpais (28 links)
- Canan Oifigeil (23 links)
- 2003 (22 links)
- Aireamh-shluaigh (22 links)
- Priomh-Bhaile (19 links)
- List of countries by population (18 links)
- Population density (16 links)
- List of countries by Aireamh-shluaigh (15 links)
- Aireamh-shluaigh density (13 links)
- Neo-Eiseimealachd (13 links)
- Square kilometre (12 links)
- Ceimeagair (12 links)
- Priomhaire (11 links)
- Population (11 links)
- List of countries by GDP (11 links)
- European Summer Time (10 links)
- UTC (10 links)
- Priomh-bhaile (10 links)
- List of countries by GDP (PPP) (10 links)
- 1999 (10 links)
- 2001 (9 links)
- 2004 (9 links)
I truly hope the articles you might write at these pages are a paragraph long instead of a couple of words... and some of the titles need translation to Gaelic still, it seems. :) --Node ue 17:30, 20 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Hi Meatbong,
That's fine by me, but I do hope that in the near future you will use the list of "most wanted articles" as a guide to which articles are needed most urgently.
