English: The Cesta tower is surrounded by a defensive fortress. It was built in the 13th century. Since 1956, the depicted fortress houses the Museum of Ancient Arms. The Montale tower is the smallest of the three towers, it was a watchtower built in the 14th century at a strategically defensive position.
