Deutsch: Bienen mit Brut (Eier und Maden). Hier sieht man Brut aller Altersstadien: einige Eier (rechts), jüngere Brut (Mitte), ältere Brut in offenen Zellen (links unten) und einige Zellen mit noch älterer, bereits verdeckelter Brut (Puppen). Die größeren Rundmaden füllen bereits die ganze Zelle aus. Bei weiterem Wachstum strecken sich die Maden und füllen dann gestreckt mit dem Kopf nach oben die ganze Zelle. Bald darauf wird die Zelle verdeckelt. Rechts unten sieht man eine Biene, die fast ganz in eine Zelle gekrochen ist, um Futtersaft in diese zu bringen.
