Deutsch: Lundi-Kolonie auf de:Mykines
  • Beschreibung: Lundi ist färöisch und heißt Papageientaucher. Sie sind (außerhalb der Schonzeit!) für die Einheimischen eine Delikatesse. Auf diesem Bild ergreift eine Papageientaucherschar die Flucht vor dem sich nähernden Fotografen. Es entstand im Juli 1984 an der Atlantischen Brücke auf der Insel Mykines (de:Färöer). Die Lundis, die ich hier in freier Wildbahn beobachten konnte, pfeifen nicht, sie krächzen höchstens. Der Flügelschlag einer Schar ist jedenfalls lauter als alle anderen Geräusche, die sie machen. Über den Geruch ihrer Vogelfelsen hülle ich den Mantel des Schweigens :-). Lundis sind jedenfalls recht zutraulich. Man kommt nahe an sie ran.

  • Aufnahmedaten: Minolta XD-5, Rokkor f5,6 250 mm Spiegeltele, Agfachrome 100. Im Hintergrund war ein störender Pfeiler der Brücke zu sehen, der wurde wegretuschiert, damit die Flugstudie des unscharfen Vogels am oberen rechten Bildrand (dort der zweite von rechts und zweite von oben) besser zu sehen ist. Scharfgestellt wurde auf den Vogel in der unteren Bildmitte, der im Begriff ist, abzuheben.
