English: Cemetery and Ruined Chapel. In an unknown plot in this cemetery is buried Alasdair, mac Mhaighstir Alasdair (Alexander Macdonald) reputed to be the greatest Gaelic poet ever. He was born about 1698 in nearby Dalilea and was Laureate of Bonnie Prince Charlie's ill fated uprising of 1745.
