Apologies for writing in English. I didn't realise "Lochlann" in modern Gaelic means "Scandinavia", but anyway, it might be worth mentioning that it in mediaval Irish gaelic (the chronicles from circa 1000 and on) was used with the distinct meaning "Norway". It says in the article, that sometimes it mend Norway. Would be interesting to find out more about it. Do you have a source for the mediaval Irish gaelic meaning? --Sionnach 21:24, 22 dhen Dùbhlachd 2010 (UTC)[reply]
